Behind the Scenes of Acting
Preparing for the stage Every new role is its own journey for me. From the first time I read the script I try to hear not just the lines, but the breath, doubts and hopes of the character. After every audition the question that stays with me is the same: how honestly can I deliver this person to the audience? Living with the character Long before shooting starts I keep a journal in my character's voice and let his daily rituals leak into my own days. This habit lets me stay free of artificial gestures the moment the camera rolls. Acting is not a mask that hides the truth — it is a mask that lets us show it more clearly. Working with the director Working with a strong director feels like learning to look at the world together. I deeply respect the director's vision while never being shy about offering my own. The best scenes are born from that shared search. Advice to young actors My most important advice is to be patient. The craft is not learned overnight; every scene and every play teaches you something new. Train, read, observe, and most of all — believe in yourself.
